The Lazos Lab, led by Dr. Carolina VĆ©lez-Grau at Boston College, is dedicated to advancing mental health equity and suicide prevention for adolescents, with a special focus on Hispanic adolescents in the United States.
Inspired by the Spanish word lazos, meaning āties,ā āconnections,āĀ or ārelationships," our work centers on strengthening relational ties between adolescents, families, communities, institutions, and themselves.
