COP30 applications are open
The application is now open for Boston College faculty and students to join the University’s official delegation to COP30, the 30th Conference of the Parties of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), taking place in Belém, Brazil from November 10–21, 2025. 㽶’s participation includes preparatory programming and serves as a platform to engage in climate-focused dialogue.
The selection committee seeks applicants with academic or professional interests in climate change, sustainability, and related social and health impacts. Diversity of disciplines and perspectives will also be considered. The application process includes two rounds: a short essay and CV/resume due May 18, followed by a second round of essays for selected candidates, due July 9.Final decisions will be communicated around the end of August 2025.
