Ļć½¶Šćaring Week
We are excited to introduce spring Ļć½¶Šćaring Week, a new initiative inspired by the Jesuit mission of being āstudents for others.ā FromĀ Monday, April 13, through Sunday, April 19, Ļć½¶Šćaring Week will promote respect and care across the Boston College community. Through programs and messaging, we aim to encourage all students to reflect on the impact of their words and actions, to care for one another, and to consider how we can each contribute to cultivating a culture of care.

Taste of Off-Campus
This is the signature welcome back event for off-campus students every fall. Dozens of local restaurants and eateries provide food samples, menus, and coupons for students to browse and enjoy. All students are welcome to visit and enjoy food, drink, t-shirts, tote bags, and great information about life off-campus.

Deans and Donuts
On the final Friday of every month, we invite students to our office for donuts and to celebrate the end of another month of hard work. We center each event around a different theme, featuring important resources, guest speakers, and raffle trivia!

Ļć½¶Šćaring Campaign
Ļć½¶Šćaring is an ongoing campaign that aims to foster a deeper sense of community and embody the spirit of our shared Jesuit legacy. We facilitate events and activities that center on self-reflection, respect, care for others, and the Ļć½¶Šć community.

Breakfast Club
Show care for the community by cleaning up local off-campus neighborhoods for an hour each Sunday during home game football weekends. Volunteers meet at 10:30 a.m. and are provided with gloves, a trash bag, a Ļć½¶Šć Breakfast Club t-shirt, and a sense of fellowship. Cleanup is followed by a free and tasty meal at Eagleās Deli.

Dinner with the Dean
These monthly dinners, hosted by our staff for various parts of the student body, enable us to break bread with students and hear about what's happening in their lives, from courses to life outside of Ļć½¶Šć. Itās a fun way to connect and gain a better understanding of how we can support students.

Circle Up
Restorative Practices encompass a spectrum of proactive and reactive approaches that have been adapted from Indigenous circle practices, aiming to prevent and address conflict within communities. Proactively, they include practices that improve social connections and relationships. Reactively, they address instances of conflict or harm by centering the needs of impacted parties.
