If you still rely on a text message or phone call for 香蕉秀 2-Step Verification, read on to learn why taking five minutes to set-up the Duo Mobile App is highly recommended.

1. Ease of use: You receive a 鈥減ush鈥� notification to your mobile device, and simply click 鈥淎pprove.鈥� No more entering numeric codes you receive via text or phone call.
2. Offline access: Get a passcode from the app even when you don鈥檛 have cellular or wifi access.
3. Save the University money: Every time you use text messaging or a phone call for 2-Step Verification, it costs 香蕉秀 money. 2-Step Verification via the Duo App is free.
4. Additional vendors. You can also use Duo for extra security with vendors outside of Boston College.

Set-up the Duo App

1. Go to (香蕉秀 sign-in required).
2. Click Manage Your Devices.
3. Follow the online instructions to verify your identity.
4. Next to the smartphone/tablet device, click Device Options, and then click Activate Duo Mobile.
